FINALLY a house (pieceHomes) that you can batten down the hatches instead of walls of glass or french doors or sliding doors.

Not that I don&#039;t sincerely love those things, but I live on the second floor, access only through one door with no window in it, and still - if I leave the place for a couple hours I have someone trying to break in.

I like security. A lot.

I truly wish I could afford to not live here in the very least, and in the big gauzy dream of life - an area with a modicum of safety &amp; neighbors that watch out for eachother (and not so they can try to burgle ya the sec you leave.)

Plus, I am so in love with being off the grid. Even to have my poo off the grid is sublime. (Composting toilet - no fears.)
